Edcel Paul Tejare is a seasoned software industry professional with over 5 years of experience in various sales and technical roles, including brand leadership, solution sales, channel sales, and customer success. He has worked with a wide range of collaboration, human resource, cybersecurity, and API products while working with industry leaders such as IBM, Trend Micro, and Zapier. Edcel has a proven track record of working directly with customers to conceptualize tailored-fit solutions, onboard new users, and ensure successful solution adoption. He is currently a Team Lead at Zapier, where he handles the onboarding of new users and leads the Paid Support Team in the APAC region. At Zapier, Edcel has worked as a Senior Customer Champion, handling the onboarding of new users and providing support to customers through email and live chat. He has also been responsible for converting new customers on the free premium trial to paying customers and product evangelists. Edcel participates in testing new features released on beta to customers and provides insights to the product team on personal and customer experience feedback. He records and monitors feature requests and bug requests from customers related to the product and the apps that Zapier works with. He also creates and updates Help Docs that are publicly published for users to use. Edcel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of St. La Salle and has completed his high school education from Bacolod City National High School and Philippine Science High School - Western Visayas Campus. Outside work, Edcel is passionate about traveling, taking care of his plant babies, and playing music. He also enjoys making his own coffee using different methods and complexities as his form of meditation and relaxation.
